Israel has stopped short of claiming responsibility for a bombing near Damascus International Airport. But the army says the explosion is consistent with its policy of stopping Iran from smuggling² weapons into Syria. Syrian rebels say an Israeli airstrike destroyed a weapons depot³ belonging to Lebanon's Hezbollah group. Hezbollah is an ally of the Assad regime.
