　　He must have wrenched⁵ it in the fall. He ground his teeth in frustration⁶, grabbed a root, and pulled himself back to a sitting position.  一定是摔倒的时候扭了。他气恼地咬紧牙根，勾着一节树根，勉强坐住。

　　Help me, he said to the boy, reaching up a hand. "帮帮我罢。"他朝男孩伸出手。

1 sullen   

adj.愠怒的，闷闷不乐的，(天气等)阴沉的
