 　　Fat Tom's blade dropped from nerveless fingers as the wet red point burst out through his ribs¹, piercing leather and mail.  胖汤姆的剑从绵软无力的手中滑落，鲜血淋漓的枪尖自肋骨下刺出，穿透皮革背心和盔甲。

　　He was dead before his sword hit the floor. 剑未落地，人已丧命。

　　Ned's shout came far too late. 奈德的叫喊来得太迟。

　　Janos Slynt himself slashed² open Varly's throat. 史林特亲自斩开瓦利的咽喉。

　　Cayn whirled, steel flashing, drove back the nearest spearman with a flurry of blows; 凯恩旋身挥剑，绽起一片剑光，逼退身旁的枪兵。

　　As his men died around him, Littlefinger slid Ned's dagger³ from its sheath and shoved it up under his chin.  眼看手下一个个在身边死去，小指头从奈德腰际抽出匕首，顶住他的下巴。

　　"I did warn you not to trust me, you know." “我不是警告你别信任我的嘛。”

　　Arya. High," Syrio Forel called out, slashing⁴ at her head.  艾莉亚。“上。”西利欧·佛瑞尔叫喊着，朝她头部挥去。

　　The stick swords clacked as Arya parried. 艾莉亚举剑挡格，木剑相交，喀的一声。

　　Left, he shouted, and his blade came whistling.  “左。”他又叫，木剑随即呼啸而出。

　　Hers darted⁵ to meet it.  她的剑也急速迎去。

　　The clack made him click his teeth together. 又是喀的一声，她咬紧牙关。

　　Right, he said, and "Low," and "Left," and "Left" again, faster and faster, moving forward. “右，”他说，之后是“下”、“左”、“左”，越来越快，向前步步进逼。

　　Arya retreated before him, checking each blow. 艾莉亚则不断后退，挥开每一记攻势。

　　Lunge, he warned, and when he thrust she sidestepped, swept his blade away, and slashed at his shoulder. “开始冲锋了。”他警告。于是当他向前猛攻，她往旁边一闪，扫开他的剑，朝他肩膀砍去。
