Adobe will shutter² its offices in China and fire most of its 400 employees by the end of this year, sources in the company have told Caixin. Adobe is known for its graphics³ software and has started to move towardsales of cloud-based software. In a move that took its company staff by surprise, the company is expected to only keep its sales department operations while other businesses will go to its subsidiary in India. Adobe China did not recruit any new graduates this year, prompting speculation⁴ it was facing difficulties. In December, the company closed its operations in Taiwan and sent part of the businesses there to Hong Kong.
