剧情介绍:

三岁看大，七岁看老。地球那一边的美洲大陆上，一个叫莱登（阿丽克西斯·布莱德尔）的姑娘打从刚懂事起，就规划起了未来的人生目标--当个乖孩子，做个模范生，顺顺当当升入理想的大学，荣誉毕业，再找一份如意的工作，住进一间精致的公寓，从此过着幸福快乐的生活……这可不是小女孩做白日梦，事实上，天资聪颖且刻苦努力的小莱的确一路

顶尖出版社的美差被大学劲敌杰茜卡撬了墙脚，“幸福快乐到永远”的好梦也只能告一段落，更惨的是，为了节约成本，穷得响叮当的莱登还只能搬回家和家人挤在一块住。面试一次次碰壁就不提了，要她成天不是对着笨手笨脚的老爹（迈克尔·基顿）和抠得要命的老妈（简·林奇），就是对着神神叨叨的奶奶和古古怪怪的小弟，还外加七大姑八大姨的奚落，还不如死了算了！还好，她还能常和青梅竹马的好朋友亚当（扎克·杰尔弗德）一起谈心海聊，而不经意间遇见的帅气邻居大卫（罗德里戈·桑托罗），也成了可以让她感到些许安慰的避风港……
