 　　His favorite hunting tactic¹ is to come from below and behind his potential prey².

　　它最喜欢的狩猎策略就是从它潜在猎物的下方或者后面下手。

　　As the Meg closes in on the whale, he descends³, in order to surprise him from below.

　　随着巨齿鲨靠近鲸，它开始下沉，好从下方给它个惊喜。

　　When he's just below the pack, he changes direction, and picks up speed as he turns upward.

　　The jaws⁴ of a Megalodon are very similar to the jaws of a Great White.

　　There were row upon row of teeth.

　　Modern sharks have a remarkable⁷ way of protecting their eyes during an attack, and Megalodon would have had the same system.

　　When Megalodon moves in to bite, it will roll its eyes backwards and a protective membrane⁸ moves forward and protects the eye.

　　But with its other senses in high gear, sight really isn't necessary once it targets its prey.

　　He targets the tail because that's the whale's only means of locomotion¹¹.
