 The Australian Medical Association is appealing directly to the Prime Minister to stop a cut to the Medical Care rebate¹ to short down the visits. From next Monday the rebate for consltations of less than 10 minutes will be cut by around 20 dollars. The AMA says the move should not go ahead because the senators are likely to disallow² it the next month anyway. 

 

 

Our first call was to the Prime Minister to set reverse this decision now. Don't let it come in on Monday. But if the government goes ahead, then we will continue to put pressure and argue the case. 

 

 

Indonesian searches have found the remained section of the AirAsia plane that crashed into the Java Sea. It was located about three kilometers from the tail. More bodies are expected to be recovered from the wreckage³. 

 

 

The latest addition of the French satirical magazine Charlie Edboe has sold out within hours. Staff are calling at the survivors⁴' issue. In defiance⁵ there was another attack by Islamic extremists to kill 12 of their colleagues last week. Millions of more copies are now being printed. The money raised will go to the families of victims. 

 

 

The Co-International Space Station has evacuated⁶ its US section following a safety alert. The six astronauts have isolated⁷ themselves in the Russian section of the station while checks are carried out in the cooling system. All thankfully our safe space officials say the situation is under control.
