 The Australian share market is struggling for direction after days of heavy selling.

Right now the overall ordinary index is up just 1 point as is the AXS100 index, and after taking a ??? this week and had a bank ??? season next week. the big four trading fairly flat across the region xxx and xxx is edging lower at the start of the trade.

mixed economic data in US also contribute to a broad seller.

the Dow Jones closed down 1%.

the Australian dollar is currently buying around 78.9 US cents falling against the green back.

 

The Australian compensation and consuming commission won't presume mining magnet Andrew Forrest over his suggestions for production capture driver ??? prices . Mr Forrest made the comments in Shanghai last month prompting the ACCC to lodge¹ a formal investigation² into whether he breach³ the cartel laws. the commission says it has now closed the investigation and won't take a matter of further. the ACCC is satisfied Mr Morris comments were made off the talk in response to audience questions. 

 

A widely watched index shows home price continues rise in April. the core logic⁴ RP data index shows capital home price were up 8% last month and up 7.9% over the last year.
