Federal police say they've dealt a "huge blow" to two major international drug syndicates they allege¹ have links to the family of Kings Cross identity John Ibrahim. Nearly 600 officers were involved in raids in Sydney with 17 people arrested across three countries.

The postal vote would cost up to 122 million dollars and ballots⁸ would be issued in September ahead of a count in November.

Ms Mccardel is one of only four people to complete a triple crossing of the channel from England to northern France now she plans to swim the distance four times which will take up to 55 hours of non-stop swimming.
