Billionaire businessman Elon Musk1 has outlined plans to launch a new rocket on a mission to Mars in five years. Speaking at the International Astronautical Congress in Adelaide, he says his company, SpaceX, can build a rocket that could carry 100 people on journeys to both the Moon and Mars.
