Billionaire businessman Elon Musk¹ has outlined plans to launch a new rocket on a mission to Mars in five years. Speaking at the International Astronautical Congress in Adelaide, he says his company, SpaceX, can build a rocket that could carry 100 people on journeys to both the Moon and Mars. He also said the same spacecraft could be used on super fast flights around Earth.
