The high court will take up the case of Anthony Elonis, who's serving a four year prison sentence for posting threats on Facebook.

He claims he was writing rap lyrics-and blowing off steam-when he threatened to kill his estranged¹ wife and shoot up a classroom full of kindergarten children.

One his posts about his wife said-quote-“There's one way to love you, but a thousand ways to kill you”.

Elonis says his comments should be covered under the First Amendment², and he wants his conviction overturned.
