 At this instant a faint cry fell on his ear. He turned, and saw a gray-haired old man stretched out on the rocks. 突然他的耳边传来了微弱的尖叫声，他转过身，看到一个灰色头发的老人躺在岩石上。

His eyes were sunk, and his features deadly pale. Water! he stretched his arms to Hans, and cried feebly, Water! I am dying. 他的眼睛凹陷，五官非常惨白，水！他将胳臂伸向汉斯，并无力地叫嚷到，水，我要死了。
