模仿文本：  At the start of the year, they reported GDP growth of 7.8%, outstripping¹ China. The country has long been ruled by a few elite² families with corporations that dominate vast portions of the economy. Corruption³ is rife⁴. But there is a growing consensus⁵ that finally the Philippines has a political leader who can turn the country into an economic powerhouse.

 

译文：今年年初，菲律宾政府报告显示GDP增长达7.8%，超过了中国。这个国家长久以来由少数精英家庭统治，这些家族的企业主导了菲律宾大部分的经济。腐败很普遍。但是人们逐渐达成了一个共识，那就是最终菲律宾会在一位政治领袖的带领下，实现经济强国之梦。
