 The Australian chair market rally today on optimism about the US economy ahead of some key US job assembly due tonight. The All Ordinaries index jumped to one and half percent, and the ASX 200 index was up 1.6 percent. Looking at the movers in ? premier¹ investments jumped 5%, New ? and the ? worked weren't too far behind going in other way today were ?. Atlas² and Arrium gained back some recent gains. 

Checking commodities, and the price was ? is aging up in the Asia session. Crew oil prices in the Singapore and the US are broadly flush. The Australian dollar has jumped against greenback and now it's worth 81,36 US cents. 

Official figures have confirmed retail³ sales aged⁴ higher in November but not enough to satisfy the retail sector⁵ or analysed expectations. 

Retail turnout grew by a tenth in a percent in the month. That's half of the increased that economists⁶ have been expecting. Sales in several categories including clothing and food were felling in the month. But that was off said by increased household goods and food. The retail association has described the figures as dissapointing. 

Advertising⁷ executive and ABC television perseonality Todd Sampson is to join the Qantas spot. Mr. Sampson is the cief executive of advertising agency Leo Burnett in Australia. But perhaps better known is his media work including as a panelist on the ABC gruen tranfer programme. His appointment at Qantas will take effect late next month.
