A GOP-backed police reform bill has hit a roadblock in the Senate as Democrats¹ have refused to agree to open debate as they push for greater changes in police tactics and accountability. Despite the roadblock, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer says he thinks legislation could still pass the Senate.

The president reacted favorably, saying Flynn was "treated horribly by a group of very bad people."
