A former federal liberal staffer is claiming she was bullied¹ in two ministerial officers, before falling victim to what she's termed "a fake redundancy process". Rachelle Miller², has lodged³ a formal complaint with the department of finance, alleging⁴ she was belittled⁵ and sidelined while working in the offices of ministers Alan Tudge and Michaelia Cash. A spokesperson for senator Cash has strenuously⁶ denied the allegations against the minister and her staff. Ms. Miller told Four Corners she had a consensual affair with Alan Tudge. Mr. Tudge says he's aware a complaint has been made.

More than 18-thousand residents in Sydney's north-west are being urged to get tested for COVID-19, after the discovery of virus fragments in local sewage. The virus was detected at two sewage pumping stations which service a number of suburbs in the Rouse Hill area. New South Wales Health is urging residents to be on the lookout⁷ for coronavirus symptoms.

The United States has recorded more than 136-thousand new coronavirus infections in a single day — with several states seeing a record number of cases.
