Another tragic¹ milestone² was passed Sunday in the coronavirus pandemic: 500,000 deaths worldwide. The reported tally³ comes from Johns Hopkins University researchers. More than 125,000 of those deaths have been reported in the U.S. Brazil is next with over 57,000 deaths.

Authorities said a suspect has been arrested in the death of a Kentucky man who was fatally shot amid a protest in Louisville over the killing⁷ of Breonna Taylor. Officials said Sunday that the suspect is hospitalized, but did not release his name.
